I am an RN who facilitates several local Parkinson’s Support Groups. We recently had the privilege of having Dr Hershkop present on Pharmacogenomics at one of our mtgs. While the topic sounds complicated, she presented an extensive talk in layperson’s terms to our group. She encouraged group participation and was very personal and compassionate to all those who shared. The group members each came away better informed and felt more empowered going forward in discussions with their health care professionals. I came away both personally and professionally with great resources to access. I look forward to her next group presentation to my second group.
